• What should a Christian do when he or she has a need (see verse 6)?  

• What does Paul guarantee you will get when you ask?  Will it be what you ask for?  (see 4:7)

• How does this guard both your heart, and your mind?

• What would this kind of honest prayer look like for you today? Make a list of all the things you are anxious about. Consciously offer each one to the Lord, asking Him for wisdom to do your part, and thanking Him for supplying you with peace and all else you will need.

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
